Ruben Montalvo has over three decades of entrepreneurial experience in various industries, including: Hospitality, Real Estate, Transportation, TV Production, Entertainment, and Consulting. With a portfolio of 17 family-owned enterprises -- 15 in the U.S. and 2 in France -- his expertise spans across industries and borders.
Committed to serving his community, Montalvo has served on more than 25 Boards of Trustees, from banking to automotive manufacturing to academia and to a number of nonprofits.
His academic journey includes two doctorates, a PhD in Leadership in Business, and an EdD in Professional Leadership. His background is in Chemical and Industrial Engineering, and he holds an MBA. He is fluent in English, Spanish, and French.
Montalvo has also taught the following courses at the doctoral, master, and undergraduate levels: Successful Entrepreneurship; Effective Leadership; Functional Teamwork; Business Economics; and Wealth Creation.
